Jerusalem violence continued to the fifth day now after Israel first attacked Al-Aqsa mosque and worshippers inside. After the first heinous attack of Israeli officers on the Al-Aqsa Mosque, a real dispute started between the two nations. Almost 300 Palestinians got injured and 250 hospitalized in this attack and elsewhere in Jerusalem.

Israeli officers don’t stop at this stage of creating Jerusalem violence. They again assaulted Palestinian worshippers in the Al-Aqsa mosque. They bombarded the mosque with Fire sound bombs which causes the fire to break out in the trees of the Mosque. Things were already steaming up due to Israeli settlers claimed to potentially evict the Palestinian residents from Sheikh Jarrah. After this Israeli police began evacuating thousands Al-Buraq Square settlers following the landing of rockets.

Jerusalem Violence: How Air Strike Started?

The weeks-long simmering tension between Palestinians and Israeli officers changed into military conflict after the attack on a mosque. The Israeli military launched airstrikes on Gaza after the Palestinian Military fired rockets near Jerusalem.

Abu Ubaida, Hamas’s Spokesman, reported

“It had launched a rocket strike against the enemy in the occupied Jerusalem in response to their crimes and aggression against the holy city and its aggression against our people in Sheikh Jarrah and Al-Aqsa mosque.”

Israel’s military gave the reason for their action by saying they strike against rocket launchers, armed groups, and military posts in Hamas, Gaza. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Militants there crossed called a “red line” by firing on the Jerusalem area for the very first time since a 2014 war. He also said that they would respond with a good force. Now who attacked Al-Aqsa mosque first and who started the conflict, we all know, that’s totally disgusting. Israel reported killing at least three militants for Hamas. Lt Col Jonathon Conricus, Israel’s Military Spokesman said to reporters,

“We have started, and I repeat started, to attack military targets in Gaza.”

Hamas, Rulers in Gaza threatened Israel and said they would strike the city after many Palestinians got injured in a Mosque attack on Monday. Hamas, the Islamist Militant Group in Gaza barrages Israel with rocket fires, and Israel starts the Rocket strikes in the residential area of Gaza. they attacked buildings with women and children trapped inside. And that is totally against all the norms of the International Community as well as Humanity.

Jerusalem Violence: Israel Intensified The Situation By Involving Ground Troops

Israel has threatened to use the Ground troops in response to Rocket fires from Gaza. In fact, they are already using them. Israel’s army said, Airstrikes and Ground Troops were involved in the attack on Friday but they didn’t enter Gaza. A BBC reported inside Gaza reported that there was heavy gun shelling, fighter jets, and helicopters involved in this assault to Palestine.

Palestinians said they fear the invasion of Israeli troops and have been fleeing areas close to the border. Israel’s office said they started an overnight mission to destroy hundreds of Hamas troop tunnels but had not invaded the area. Meanwhile, Hamas launched another rocket volleys toward Israel on Thursday evening in response to Air Strike and heavy shelling.

A statement released early on Friday reported that the Israeli Prime Minister said, Military operation in Gaza against Hamas would continue as long as it requires to. He also said, ‘Hamas would pay a heavy price of its actions’.

In return to the Spokesman of the Hamas, the Military said, They are ready to teach a harsh lesson to Israel on their decision that either they should invade via Ground troops or not.

Injured and Dead in this Jerusalem Violence

The Palestinian health minister, controlled by Hamas, reported that 20 Palestinians had died, including 9 children, had died in a result of these Airstrikes. But it doesn’t stop Israel. They continued to airstrike Gaza going against all standards of humanity. More than 119 Palestinians had died including 57 children since the attacks first started on Monday.

More than 520 Palestinians are wounded and hospitalized. On the Israeli side, 21 officers got injured in their first attack on the Al-Aqsa mosque. And some got injured in rocket fires too. Israel also reported deaths of civilians after the rocket fires.

The numbers of injured and dead have been increasing on Palestine’s side and the situation is getting worse. Still, Gaza is bracing airstrikes from Israel and many innocents are losing their lives.

Response of International Community on this Jerusaelm Violence

International Communities are really concerned about these rising tensions among the two nations and fear the situation can get worse if Israel continues to Airstrike Palestine. As the attacking and fighting continued to the fifth day, Secretary-General António Guterres of United Nations called for

“An immediate de-escalation and cessation of hostilities in Gaza and Israel”.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan contacted the President of Russia Putin Vladimir and they exchanged their views on this issue. Erdogan also contacted the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan and they agreed to work together on this matter. Many pleas had been made to Israel and Palestine to ceasefire the rockets fires and Airstrikes. But they failed to do so. A senior Hamas official said that they are ready for a reciprocal ceasefire. Only if international communities can get Israel to suppress Military actions on Al-Aqsa Mosque.
