DIRTY JOHN (2018-Continue)
If you are into true-crime podcasts then Dirty John should be your number one choice. This anthology series is full of amazing tabloid stories of young and successful women who have their lives destroyed by sneaky and shady young men.
The Role of Connie Britton as a Crafty entrepreneur in a bold season one shook us all and left its impression on us. And then the second season with spell casting acting of Amanda Peet as Betty Broderick left us all waiting for a third and new season. For me, the second season was best with an amazing storyline when Betty Broderick was convicted of murdering her ex-husband after he left her for another girl. LUPIN (2021-Continue)
All the fans of Money Heist, settle down because we have got another season for you. Here, meet Lupin, a spell-casting action-packed story of Assane Diop a thief on his propelling mission of revenge against the man responsible for his parent’s death.
What I like about this season is its twisty jumps between past and present which lefts its audience always wanting more out of episodes. You would fell in love with the master plannings of Assane Diop and his struggle to destroy the reputation of a well-known family. SWEET TOOTH (2021-Continue)
This pick is for all the fantasy fans out there. We have always seen the post-apocalypse seasons full of fight, blood, and thrill. But the Sweet Tooth here has broken the norms with its heart-warming post-apocalypse storyline. Full of weirdness and wonderful factors this series has everything one can ask for in a fantasy show.
The story revolves around a comic book character (by Jeff Lemire) named Gus, who looks like a half deer and half-human child. With another amazing character named Nonso Anozie, Gus sets off on a journey to find more about his kind in a post-apocalypse America. With painful secrets rolled up in his sleeve, Nonso Anzoie acts as a guardian of little Gus. Dark twists and problems at every step, would Gus will be able to find more about his kind?
Bridgerton (2020-Continue)
How many shows left you addicted to themselves? If not many then Bridgerton will make you one of itself. This drama is full of fun and entertainment. Colorful costumes, Lavish palaces, delightful British characters, and amazing sceneries, Bridgerton has a lot to offer to its watchers. You will experience a whole new Regency London and its amazing history.
Not just this, the amazing sex-love relationship between Daphne (Pheobe Dynevor) and Simon (Rege-Jean Page) will make you go crazy over the storyline. Also, the bridgerton sibling’s relationships and adventures are something you will love more than anything in this season. Season one will leave you with a number of questions and I think only season two can answer these. In short everything in this season is so undescribable yet amazing and makes it worth 12 Emmi nominations.
DARK (2017-2020)
There is no denying that Germany left us all in surprise with its brainstorming series, Dark. This is basically a Science fiction season that amazingly unravels the mysteries of the past and future via time travel. The estranged families and their conspiracies against each have made the season one of the top TV series.
The story kicks off with the child’s disappearance at cave which is a main time travel door. This is not your regular time travel sci-fi series, the multiple mysteries and family relations will make you go crazy. I think, so far, this is my most favorite season nowadays. So, if you are looking for a series to keep your mind away from real-world then Dark should be your first priority. Because, oh man, you would be pulling your hair out at the end.
