What is melody? Just listening to some lines sung by someone? Secondly for the sake of what?  For the relaxation of your mind? We used to listen to different songs but never tries to know the history of music. Where does it come? Were does it starts? Who gave the idea of melody? Who made the first music/melody? who’s the Father of music/melody? Isn’t it quite interesting? To know about the melody whom we love to listen to. History Of Music/Melody

The music word comes from a Greek word Mousike, having a meaning of art. Melody firstly came in the Paleolithic period. (300,000 to 50,000 BP) and the Upper Paleolithic  (50,000 to 12,000 BP). After million years ago, ancestors of the Neanderthals had a vocal/ voiced anatomy. But it was impossible to understand them. So, they made some rhythm with the help of hands. What? With the help of hands? Yeah, it’s right they make rhythm by clapping.

There are seven genres of melody. But firstly we should know about the general. So, what are genera? Genera mean kinds, types. Used to describe some important cadence. Now, we will discuss the 7 genres of music.

Punk rock or simply Punk is a type of melody that emerged in the mid-1970s. It was embedded in 1960s garage rock and the punk bands rejected the assessment of mainstream 1970s.

5. Hip-Hop Music/Melody

Hip-hop is a genus of music. It is also called rap music. It’s a  very popular genre. Backbeat, scratching and instrumental tracks are

Dance music is a wide-ranging term. In addition to this music/melody is specially created for the dance of people. In this beats are used. And specially created to dance. The music is personal and uses the subject. Like we just see in clubs people are dancing on some beats.

7. Pop Music/Melody

Pop music is an aberration of Popular music. Pop emerged in modern and unique form during the mid of 1950s.and in the United States and the United Kingdom.
