FIFA announced the 16 host cities for World Cup 2026™. These cities were announced on the live TV show from the New York. The show was produced in the corporation of FOX and Telemundo. The TV show also broadcasted live in the three hosting countries. And everybody was able to see that broadcast from the FIFA+ as well.
The host city’s announcement was the most transparent and comprehensive ever made in the history of football. The decision was made after taking into the need of consideration all stakeholders of World Cup 2026. This announcement was considered because of the best interest of the game.
