This Tuesday, April 20, 2021, Apple announces iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 in Purple hue. And that’s the first time Apple is launching any product in this color. Apple on its spring event 2021 unveiled this stunning lavender-ish pastel hue finish for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini. The launch was as beautiful as these purple variants are. Preorders for these purple Color variants will be starting this Friday, April 23, 2021. And the first Units of these will be available for sale on April 30, 2021. Price starts at 829$ ($799 in the US) for iPhone 12 and $729 (£699) for iPhone 12 mini or $699 with a carrier discount. The announcement of these Purple iPhones came along with new iMacs, AirTags, an iPad Pro, and an updated Apple TV.
Case for iPhone 12 in Purple Color
Well, now all this perfect Purple finish can’t be thrown away by using a wrong case, am I right?. So, Apple took care of this too. The company is also launching a stunning MagSafe Leather Case and a new Leather Sleeve in Deep Violet shade. So, forget the worries of finding a matching case this time!
There are new Silicones covers available too in Pistachio, Capri Blue, Amethyst, and Cantaloupe shade. Until now the iPhone 12 and mini 12 were available in black, white, blue, green, and (product) red shades. The iPhone 12 pro and pro max variants were present in graphite, gold, silver, and blue finishes.

iPhone 12 Features
Apple has perfectly color-matched flat aluminum edges of iPhone 12 to the precision-milled back glass. In all features and purposes, iPhone 12 purple is exactly the same as the existing iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini. Both have the same Flat-edge design, 5G support, an OLED screen with HDR support.
The screen is covered with Apple’s ceramic shield and the body has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The iPhone 12 in purple and iPhone 12 mini also support the MagSafe wireless charging and accessories. It has the same A14 Bionic processor and runs the same iOS 14 software. Both variants feature the same advanced dual-camera system that delivers the perfect computational photography results.
