What the leaked footage reportedly shows

Push Square reports the footage includes first-person driving and walking, an off-road dirt bike section, and adult content in the open world. Rockstar has not confirmed a first-person mode. Development builds often contain features that change or get cut, so none of this is a promise of what ships on November 19.

Was a full build released?

No. The leaker tied the release of a playable build to the price of a cryptocurrency token. According to Insider Gaming, the target was not reached, and the leaker said no build would be shared. The leaker also claims to hold more story material. Insider Gaming describes that claim as alleged, and we have no way to check it.

What Rockstar has said

Rockstar's last public statement on leaks came on August 26, ahead of the Netflix Extended Look. Engadget reports that the studio said leaked videos were painful for the team, that the game was close to finished, and that it asked players to wait for launch to avoid spoilers. Rockstar also filed takedown notices against the August clips. We found no new Rockstar statement on the October leaks as of October 19.

How to avoid GTA 6 spoilers

  • Mute "GTA 6 leak", "Lucia" and "Jason" as keywords on X, Threads and Reddit.
  • On YouTube, avoid unofficial channels until launch, and watch trailers only on Rockstar's channel.
  • Be wary of any site or token promising early access or a download. These are common scam routes.
